Austin-Based GoodPolitics Announces Board of Directors, Plans for 2020 Election
GoodPolitics has announced its newly-appointed Board of Directors for 2020-2021, who will join founders Liz Coufal and Nathan Ryan in providing resources to voters leading up to the November election.
Board members include: Savannah L. Barker, Senior Director of Strategic Programs at Notley; Andrew Cates, Senior Partner at Salient Strategies; Moby Hayat, Managing Partner at FireShow Media; Dr. Peniel Joseph, Founder of UT’s Center for the Study of Race and Democracy; Callie Kerbo, Brand Strategist at Honeycomb | Brand + Strategy; Joseph Kopser, Founder of Grayline Group; and Sarah Ortiz Shields, Executive Director of Austin Tech Alliance. Together we are working to provide Austin voters with the resources they need to make the election process accessible and fun.”
GoodPolitics plans to ramp up its digital efforts leading up to the November election. Resources include information about voter registration, COVID-19 safety and job descriptions of Travis County elected offices. The goal is to create practical, helpful tools that allow members of the Austin community to become engaged and confident participants in their democracy.
